Most Consumer credit counseling services, if not all, are financed by the credit industry,,,the very people you owe. They will NOT remove bad marks. Your participation in their "program" will last 7 years on your Credit report. CCCS's are barely ahead of bankruptcy. In fact many times bankruptcy is better.,
