card delinquency

I am about 3 months deliquent in one credit card and am having a real hard time paying it off. I want to pay, but the current financial situation does not allow me to. I used to live in Maine but I am now living abroad and I need to know if the SOL will be applied to that state, since I first defaulted when I was out of the country? Also, how would defaulting affect the other credit cards where I have 0 balances and excellent credit. If I keep the other accounts in good standing will they keep my credit line?
Please help!
