I moved out of the country to take care of a sick family member and had plans of making all the payments like I always did. My current work situation is really not what I expected at all, and doesnīt allow me to, and I donīt see things changing much unless I move back to the US -- which isnīt possible at the moment. I am not in the military and have very good line of credit on all my other cards. I havenīt used the other cards in the past 6 months, but if I need to make small purchases to keep them active, I am willing to do so. Will the other cards keep my current line of credit if I prove them I can make these payments, regardless of not being able to do so on the first account? My biggest concern is if I canīt make the payments on the major card, will they file a lawsuit even though I am living out of the country? The card in question was issued when I lived in Machias, Maine, but I moved abroad over a year ago. How would the SOL work in my case? Any help is very much appreciated.
