I don't know what happened with Scott - haven't heard the full story, but yes, I know of people who voluntarily paid them and were issued a new account - I didn't mean that the old account was reopened, but they were given a new account. Perhaps they have toher requirements as far as what is on your report at the time, I'm not sure about that. Scott, are there other unpaid items on your report? That might be the reason. Have you followed up with AmEx to find out the reason? Linda
