The first step is to admit you have a problem; which you seem to have done. The second step is to do something about it, and stick to it. Its hard, no matter where your coming from. You could be paying Sears, way after they shut their doors for good. Its not going to go away. Your never going to get out from under, going in that direction! You read most of whats here, and you still don't seem convinced? Well maybe its time to take that leap! Get serious for a moment and make that appointment with CCCS (the right one) and talk to them and listen. Go in and speak to a representative, and do it in person, not over the phone. They'll tell you your options. Stop procrastinating; like so many of us have done, your not alone; I was guilty of that too! What can you lose? One of these days your going to want something so bad; and not be able to get it because of your credit. Unless you like paying someone 29% interest for a car! I don't know how old you are; but you don't want to wake up someday and wish you hadn't ignored your situation for so long. We all need to realize that we did this to ourselves, whether it was intentional or whether it was because we lost our jobs or got sick; either way, we have to take the responsibility for it, and deal with it. I don't mean to be hard on you; but you asked, and i believe in giving it to you straight.
