Sorry to hear about your medical problems. I'm sure the stress doesn't help. Get an answering machine, if you don't have one, and avoid talking to them on the phone. They won't get too threatening when they know it is being recorded by the machine. You can also send them a letter telling them they may only contact you by mail. If you do that, send it certifed return receipt mail so you can prove they got it. What is NCO trying to collect? Has the bank charged this off? Have you and hubby looked at his credit report to see what is what on there? Has NCO sent you anything in writing or are they just calling you? Your choices are pretty limited, but you can try a few things. You don't want to get them riled up, so don't take any extreme advice. Linda
