Click on CREDIT LAWS to the left of the screen. Go to statue of limitations by state. Find your state, credit cards are considered open accounts. Read the beginning of the page first. You'll then understand why I'm having check it out:0) That's a start. I'm sure the veterens of this forum can help you with additional stuff. I've learned alot by reading other posts (scamming practically all of them for info, big help). Also read the archived posts.I agree with the damned if you do damned if you don't statement. I've learned though that it may be in my best interest if I just "Don't". Remember that if it's been as long as five years since you had paid on the account or had activity on it, you may only have 2 more years till it comes off of your credit report. Once you pay on it again, it will restart the time of 7 years for it to be reported on your credit report. Okay, well it's not just that cut and dry. Start with the SOL page first. Then keep posting for additional help and read as much info as you can. Knowledge is POWER!!
