Nate, it's like this. Sounds like all of these accounts are within the SOL and you can be sued for them. To be sure let us know
(1)What state you're in
(2)When they charged off your cards and/or last payment made on them.
(3)How much is the debt?

There are exemptions as to what a company can take from you in judgements and that all depends on where you live basically. They can't take furniture though. Just answer the above questions and we can help you. I'm assuming it was a good deal of money since they've decided to sue when you have no assets.

If this debt is extreme then you will WANT to scrape up enough to get yourself a bankruptcy lawyer and get on that NOW. You can probably file a chapter 7 if you aren't working and be done with it now even though they've started their legal process of getting a judgement on you. True it lasts for 10 years on your reports but judgements can last even longer if they pursue it. Jeopardizing ANYTHING you get of value for the period of time the judgement lasts.

Or you can let them get their win by default and possibly have anything you get in the future taken away from you, but doesn't look like you'll have to pay anything now because you don't have any assets for them to take.

Also, are you sure you're being sued are did some collection agency just feed you that mess. Have you received a summons?

Before you make any decisions though, answer those few questions and we'll help ya out best we can.
