Hi, if you're wifes name is on that card, then they could garnish her income if need be since she's also liable.

If they get a judgement against you then you could still file bankruptcy later and have it removed..just more work to go that route as opposed to having it done before they get a judgement.

Only thing is with a judgement, they can always get things other than just a wage garnishment.

Lots of what a creditor can take is dependent upon where you live.

Kinda makes ya hate money sometimes..or the lack of it hmmm :)
