Yes, I can say "fishy" -- these jerks come on like the type that retires folks to sleep wi' da fishies, indeed they do.

"SOL debt" is debt so old that statutes of limitations permitting litigation to collect have "run," which is another way of saying there's a law (FDCPA) that TIME BARS the issue of THAT DEBT from litigation.

And in almost any state in the union, a debt from 1991 will be TIME BARRED from litigation.

1 -- DO read the August posts, but ALSO find a post by orange dog regarding the "evidence" CAMCO's evil twin, Asset Acceptance I think they're called, presented in their lawsuit against him.

And tell your lawyer best get heads up.

BOTH these outfits are suing for debt THEY KNOW is SOL debt.

2 -- You can get some respite by having your attorney contact them and fish that 1991 date from their lying mouths.

3 -- But that may be the calm before the storm. See my post re PAYPAX also in August.

Hope you don't mind, but you're the first person I've seen on the board today that might have the affirmative answer to a question that has been on my mind since about the middle of the only phone call that WASN'T a snarling contest, who ALSO posted an email contact.
