A CRRR letter to a current CA (when you are past SOL) advising them of your intentions to take action if they attempt in ANY way to continue to collect past the legal collection time, will "bulletproof" you, as if they resell the account they can be held liable in any action against the "new" CA.I t MAY also, in some States,prevent them from REPORTING past the State SOL.
