update on BK bill ..

just another update on this bad bill pending before congress .. as of this morning about 20 democrats "crossed" over pledging support for this bill "urging" the house to please take up a vote next week but according to rep. army of texas who heads the house a vote as of today even with the small dem support would spell defeat for the bill so according to rep. army he feels they STILL need a few more house members to cross over insuring a victory for passage before he'll bring it to the floor for a vote .. according to sen. patrick lehey of vermont IF the house does not bring this bill up for a vote within the next 2 weeks he says the senete WILL NOT bring it up for a vote at all next year & doubts this BK bill will EVER become law .. im not a a rah rah type person but this bill is VERY MUCH on the fence & as of today would fail so as ladynred mentioned yesterday call your rep. in the house tell them its a bad bill for ALL consumers rich or poor & let this bill die w/o a vote .. if you read some of this bill you'll be like how can they sell us out like this , its a bad bill period ... kelly .........
