You are better off replying, as this will be in the court records. Just tell the truth,you have NO knowedge and NO records of the account they refer to, as the only account you MAY have had with ths original creditor was unpteen years ago, and you do not maintain records on paid accounts for that long a period of time.Of course, if you happen to have an old bill for that account, with the same account # showing a past due date way beyond SOL,you can always "find it" if it actually gets to proving SOL.
