You have to do the first, or they will run over you, ruin your credit (again) and make your life miserable. Most people have the motivation for this, because the pressure is on them.

The second is the larger issue. Someone who is willing to go after them on this level has to persuade and lead, and recruit. It isn't simple, and it won't solve individual problems right now, but it will stop them overall.

You have to make it simple. A generic letter for people to fill in the blanks and mail. a form or petition they can sign. Something they don't have to think about or figure out.

The other deterrent to going public (and the reason CA's get away with so much) is that people are embarrassed by what is going on, and they don't want to sign their names. This board is anonymous. The avenues for stopping these thugs are not. People just don't want to hang their "dirty laundry" out in public.

Big obstacles. It's been done before. I am not a victim (that God) or I would join you.
