Last thursday I was sueed for a debt that was about7 years old ffrom a finance company for money I borrowed for appliances that were repoed within the year.I never paid the difference I qwed on them after they were auctioned off.I went to the hearing but promptly chickened out and left the courtroom before It was my turn.I just feltlike I couldnt win and I didnt really know anything about any laws and statues inOhio and it was in an open court room with other defendants.I just get really nervous around other people any way and dont think my financial problems are there buisness.I'm sure a judgem,ent was rendered against me .I havent gotten the papers yet.Will they look at the statutes and decide in my favor even if I wasnt there?If not ,is there anyway I can turn their decision around?I cant afford to pay it but I also cant afford to file bankruptcy right now.Please help!!!!
