CAMCO's obligations by law?

Hi again....so of course CAMCO has started their annoyance, and from what I can tell, it MIGHT have to do with something that actually happened through a bank loan MANY years ago, (if not, then this is THEIR mistake because what I have come up with is the ONLY comapny even remotely close in name to what they are going on about) but IF that is the issue in question, that should have been taken care of by the co-signer, as far as my whole family thought, back then, if there had been anything TO take care of. I have STILL not gotten a written notice from them, and I'm keeping track, because I found in one of the laws that they have only 5 business days to send something out in writing by mail, after first contact with me. So trying to eliminate what this issue could be, (if it's mine at all) I found out what bank now owned the bank that may be in question, and called them myself last week. I gave them my name and social and had her run it. She said that nothing came up. She said she could try one more dept. but it was too late and they were already closed. I asked her if I should call back this week and she said there's really no need, AND..that CAMCO IS required by law to send the written notice of debt collection in the 5 days, and then when I send MY written dispute (which believe me, is going out CERTIFIED MAIL, the VERY next day) then once they get that, which I will be able to prove from the return receipt, then they have only TEN days to then furnish me with proof in writing that this was in fact my debt, and if they fail to do this in that time frame, then the whole thing becomes null and void. Has anyone else heard of this? She said she was POSITVE that this was correct procedure. I have no attorney and can't afford to pay just to ask a question right now...(of course I'll have to figure out how to if this continues)..so I thought I'd ask on here. Because of COURSE, these companies NEVER expect the person they are calling to know such things as time limits on them sending these notices. They assume we are all frightened little blithering idiots...and I'd LOVE to prove their pathetic hellbound asses WRONG. That's all...I didn't see that listed in the FDCPA...but I'm hopefull it's listed elsewhere.....bye again.
