My mother-in-law is in a nursing home. She used to live with us but hasn't since June. Her creditors continue to call our house and one of them insists that I am her. I have told him repeatedly not to call, but he said he will continue to call until I give him my mother-in-law's phone number. She is dying of cancer and is on Title 19/Medicaid. She has no assets-no real estate, savings or insurance. Her only income was social security and as far as I see it, she is will leave no estate and is judgment-proof. Other than changing my phone number or getting caller ID, what recourse do I have?
