This car was purchased in 1989, repossessed in 1992 and the last activity on the account was at the latest sometime in 1993. I have two credit reports from 1995 and 1996 that show this debt and confirm this information - one from Equifax and one from TRW. I can find no other documentation for this debt. I was concerned that I would not be able to produce enough proof that the debt was past SOL if this collector tried to file suit, etc...? Which is why I wanted to make sure I follow the correct course of action. Thanks.
