Law Firm keeps trying to collect debt even though they haven't validated.

I requested validation on August 8th. They have not provided me with anything. They contacted the court to delay the court date they initiated. Today I received yet another letter requesting payment of the same debt (I can tell it's the same one - same file number even though the amount keeps going up). They still just refer to creditor as National Loan Recoveries. Isn't this a violation of the Fair Debt Collections Acts.
