Heavens! Dont' do that. You can always negotiate a good deal with a credit card - they are all fighting over us. A 15% loan in todays market is highway robbery, even at your age. Ask you 5% credit card company for a credit line increase, maybe enough to pay off that 13% car loan, LOL. I can't understand why you think this is a good idea. With a credit card, you can work them. You can have them dancing on a rope. You just learn their game and play it wisely. Use the card a lot - put everything you can on it - then pay it. They love it. They make money, and your credit sings! They will raise your limit, lower your interest rate, give you special deals, ad infinitum. Just don't buy into it as "free money" - it's a tool in a consumer's toolbox. No credit card will sink your FICO like a rock. They want to see you manage credit day in and day out - all kinds. Linda
