I posted earlier asking about a charge off on a car I bought in Florida and gave back in RI. Since I bought the car in FL does the SOL still pertain to Florida law? My current residence on record is Florida again. I thik I read that the SOL for the collection is 5 years is that right? I have been contacted in over a year I just wanted to know what I need to be prepared for incase they nab me! Thanks Linda
