Hi,
Back in 1996, apparently I co-signed for a car for a friend at the time.
He stopped payments on the car 4 months after he got it and just this June, 2002 the account started coming up on my credit report.
I have no contact with this person and do not know where to go now
The balance is 10000 and is now at an attorney's office in Michigan, I think and I may have a civil judgement against myself. Any Advice will help
