Don't talk to these IDIOTS !!!! Send them a stern Cease and Desist letter. You tell them never to contact you about the debt again as it is time-barred (use WhyChat's sample) and, as Scott said, threaten to sue them as well. They have given you the dates you need to prove SOL expiration, and the fact that the account is long-gone from your credit report is a plus in your favor! They KNOW they can't sue you over this.
