Getting the True last date

As I try to build my defense in the onslought of slime,I need to know how I can find out my last date of activity?I have NO previous paperwork.I called sears.A(kind)person told me that it was 12/25/98.I called the next day and a(mean)person told me that they dont even have that info cus they sold the account.She was lying because the(nice)lady told me info that she read off her screen.(I know she was giving true info cus she even told me the amount of charge off).I dont want to contact the new CA for the info cus they would probley lie to me.Besides I would want to get all my little duckiepoos in a row before I make my next move.From What I believe... my Sol is up in apx.three months.I could "lay low like a good dead beat",but I want to prepare for the worst.I dont know what direction yet that im going with my COUNTER OFFENSIVE.I dont have a CRA direct issued CR. I have a CR from all three CRA's from (freecreditreport.com)They show nothing of the last date.They only have a space for (date opened),and each debt entry(and there are several for the same debt)has conflicting dates.None of which correspond to the date the(nice)lady told me of.Is there a arm twisting technique that I can use on the original creditor to get the info.If I cant do that how can I get the info.Im hoping to get it in writing for my defense files............WOW did I actualy say "duckiepoos"?.... oh my.
