"The only real asset any of us have is TIME.There are no "credit cards" available to borrow extra hours even if you were willing to pay a high interest rate (except perhaps for selling your soul to the devil as many CEO'S seem to have done)"

Time is something we all have and all have an equal amount of. What the person does with their time is up to them. In all honesty, I'm sure everyone in the world would love to just sit around and have a good time all day and never work, so they could have time to do the things they want. Sink or swim in life, we all know that. You can work very hard to achieve your goals, forfeiting your leisure time.

"I have grandchildren older than you, CC, and I prefer to spend my "lighter hours" doing things that are fun with them and my great grandchildren."

I'm glad to hear that. I love my grandparents, too. The three remaining don't know how to use a computer, so they enjoy the beach they live on.

"I do not think that anyone much who comes to this board is looking for a "lighter side", certainly not all the regulars who spend countless hours, without any renumeration doing the research and posting helpful answers to serious problems."

Right, but the people coming to find answers are certainly looking for a lighter side. And this board is made for the people who need answers, not the regulars.

"The time you spend here, posting frivolous fluff, that we have to wade through to see if there is a REAL problem or a USEFUL answer could be better spent at something else."

You're one poster of many, I don't think any of my posts have gone unanswered and I appreciate the answers I get. Every single one of my questions revolved around credit and financing. Just because I haven't let three cards charge off or filed BK doesn't mean I shouldn't post here, unless the board operator asks me not to post here.

"In addition, you say you are a college student and working for a collection agency. I am semi-retired, other regular posters on the board do not, and can not post from their place of employment. I am old fashioned, I believe that if you are posting from your work, you are STEALING from your employer the only thing of value (time)."

I don't post from college or work, only in my free time.

"In addition the "get rich quick" schemes and Mickey Mouse pyramid kiting schemes you have posted may tempt some gullible person to try for a "quick fix" to their problems. (as you seem to be looking for)"

No, my goal is to learn from other's mistakes on this website. As previous posts indicate, I want to maintain good credit and build 750+ credit.

"In short, IF YOU ARE NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION- YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM."

Noone is holding a gun to your head or anyone else's head to read or reply to my posts. Your logic with the last quote indicates that any post that does not directly attempt to solve someone's problem is a part of the problem. It's a nice, trite, statement but it doesn't really prove a point.

I will continue to post and reply, answer questions, and enjoy this "Card Report" board very often.
