Actually, I had gone with CCCS in June 2001 and the last payment was made in Sept 2001. So the SOL is still in force. I don't think they really knew where I was. The company is National Financial systems and would they now resell it to someone in Florida? I'm in a tourism related industry and Sept 11 did me in. So no income and pretty insolvent and they had no employer to contact.
Looking at your site, Chat, an exemption for an out of state collection agency is if the creditor has an office here. Is that correct? Its Citibank.
