Thanks for the help. I just located the last statement I received from B of A. Actually not a statement, they were just telling up that their settlement offer was no longer valid. It says our account is past due 865 days. If the SOL is up in 1095 days (3 years) for the state of Alaska, could that be why they are getting so testy and have turned it over to an attorney? Is an attorney in this case the same as a CA?

I will check with the Alaska secretary of state's office to see if the attorney that is hassling us is licensed and bonded in Alaska. I didn't know that this sec of state's office gave out this kind of information.
