If an attorney tells you a credit card account is a written contract..you should immediately ask him/her what an open account is. Even the most retarded consumer should be able to tell by the name that an open account refers to an account that can have a variable balance or payment rate. Written contracts are for a set ammount of money and a set payment..I.E. a car loan. The next time an attorney tells you a credit card is a written contract...report them to the state bar.
