non-chexsystems banks

I was put into chex-systems in another state a few years ago. I have now moved out of the state and cannot open a checking account. I did have an account in the previous state since the incident leading up to my error with my account, but that bank must have not used chex-systems. Of course everyone knows the story, I now cannot not open an account. I dont find the websites that claim to have lists of banks that do not use chex-systems very helpful because you have to open a membership there to even view the list. I am in great nead of recommendations for banks that do not use Chex-systems without having to buy a membership to a website.I only have 1 more year to go until I am off the list..so they say.
