Weel, they are not going to tell you that info, really, but asking it points out that you KNOW what they do - that they pay very little for these debts and then try to collect huge amounts for profit. It takes away a lot of their blustering nonsense.

The most of a reply I've ever seen to that question is that the debt was purchased from xxx as part of a package deal.
