No it is not a pacer. I called the county clerks office and I have to pay them $35 to do a search back to 1990. This situation is starting to really concern me. I have just received a notice from the subpoena compliance division for one of my current credit cards stating that they have been served with a subpoena and they enclosed a copy of the questions that need to be answered by them and submitted to the Supreme Court of NY. Questions like - Please provide copy of last credit application from debtor (me), checking account information and copies of checks sent to them when I pay my monthly statement. My question now is what is this all for. Are they just trying to pressure me in to paying? I called the lawyer/collection company and offered them around .40 on the dollar and I was told that the only way they will take anything less than 100% is if I furnish them doctors notes stating that I can't work as well as previous tax returns. I am at a lost now as how to proceed. Can I be brought up on criminal charges or be sent to jail for not paying this judgment? Please let me know your expert opinion. Thanks.
