The best way to negotiate this account is keep on trying to get it removed by dispute to the CRA's.

If you pay the CA a DIME it will INSURE the debt stays on your report not only the full 7 years, but will be RE-AGED and stuck on your report for even LONGER by the next bottom feeding ca who buys the balance.

If you have your papers from your filing, and they showed this account as past due in 1995 at the time of your ch13. Then it is already past the 7 year reporting limit.

Send a dispute to the CRA's with a copy, if you have it, of your BK filing that shows the original account, (black out any other info you don't want them to see) State that the account is "overage" and request deletion.

Your dismissed ch13 is still on your report, so you can refer to it.(dismissed ch13's can stay on your report up to 10 years,so don't say it was a ch13, just say it was a BK)
