confused about CRs

i'm trying to update my CRs. my question is how do you update an account that was sold while you were disputing it? i had a wachovia account get changed on experion to show legally paid in full for less than full amount. on equifax it shows wachovia 30,60.90 days late & account sold/transferred. it was sold to first usa which on the equifax report shows as account paid/ zero balance and account closed at consumers request.then on trans union, it shows only the first usa account closed by consumer charged off as bad debt and nothing about the wachovia stuff. finally, trans unoin and equifax both show a CA for advanta but i've never been contacted by the CA. i know this is jumbled but how would you go about straightening this out?
