There are lots of good letters to use, as Fenrit says, a regular dispute/cease and desist/validation is normally sufficient.

The "SOL" letter is useful if someone has threatened, or is talking about legal action,however,since they DO mention their right to take "action" against you, I consider that as a threat of legal action, so use the SOL letter.
