I think you need to check your country's laws to see what legal action can be brought there by a creditor in the US, or ask a legal professional in your country.

As far as coming back to the US. heck yeah, you can come back. It's not a crime to default on your debt. Nobody's going to arrest you or anything.

As far as them calling you, I think you can try what we do, LOL, they probably don't know the difference (if there are any) in your laws and ours. There are some differences in Canadian law, but it is very similar to US law. And these dudes are not exaclty legal eagles. Send a validation letter and see what happens, LOL.
