If he's from the leasing/finance company, he's not obligated by FDCPA (only covers 3rd party collection practices). However, you CAN demand that they not call you at work or discuss the account with 3rd parties. I would file a complaint with the BBB. The other question is: How far behind are you? Does he have a legitimate reason to call for payment?
