Send them a letter and ask them to state In Writing that they are planning to sue and when they plan to file the papers. Also demand that they only communicate in writing from now on. If they're just blowing smoke, that's a violation. If you actually have a payment arrangement with Providian, how did the CA become involved and why are they making statements on behalf of Providian? I would check with Providian and find out what's going on. Has the CA sent anything in writing?
