Dealing with Hanna and Associates law firm (CA) in GA. We live in AK. They are getting nastier and nastier on the phone. I wrote validation letter and mailed it out Certified RRR, within the 30 day time period of receiving their letter.

They have left messages on our phone everyday, threatening, saying they have done an asset tracking on us and it's in our "best interest" to deal with this voluntarily. Is this a scare tactic? What is an asset tracking? I'd sure like to know what they found, cause we got NOTHING!!

Left message tonight and said, letter is on way, cease and desist calling this number. Should I just ignore the nasty calls, or write the cease and desist letter right away?

Funny thing is, we have 2 Bank of America debt, seperate accounts, and the other one is being handled by someone else. This Hanna and Associates said "WE" are the only ones that deal with Bank of America collections. So who is lying? Even though they say they are an attorney, aren't they just a CA? I am confused, but really ANGRY now!!

Thanks for all you help.

BTW, SOL is still 6.5 months away on these debts.
