Kelly Z,
My recommendation would be to keep paying Cambece Law Office. Though Cambece Law Office may not be licensed to practice law in your state, they most certainly have the authority to collect your debt. They, or the owners of your debt may have counsel in the state you reside and they could not only pursue for the debt but for damages as well. Charge off doesnt mean anything either... you could still be sued for non payment. Also, Budd Hibbs is just a disgruntled debtor that gives bad advice because by telling you not to pay only fulfills his agenda at getting back at credit grantors he owes. Anyone who advises you to break the law (failing to pay a debt that you legally owe)is not someone you want to put faith in. Good Luck!
