Can a persons wages be garnished if that person is the head of household in MN. My sisters husband is being sued on a car they did not finish paying off after it broke down and they could not afford to fix it. It is still well within the sol. They had one court date but the attorney for the creditor did not show up. Odd, I think, so they reschedualed it for 3 weeks later. Thanks, Darry30
