It has been 45 days since I sent them a certified mail return receipt letter stating that the debt they were trying to collect was invalid and that I demanded validation. They never responded. I just got another letter from them today "offering" to settle the "debt" for roughly half of the original amount. Are they in violation of the FDCA? This debt is not mine.
