Thanks for the quick reply. But from what I read from other posts, will this ever go away? Will they pursue legal action themselves or otherwise make my life miserable? From what I understand, I can send them a cease and desist letter, but will they sell this to some other credit collector? Maybe you're right, I need to stand up to these guys and tell them to go to *&^^.
