Looking at my Experian Report it shows an unpaid account from Asset Acceptance and in the Account History it shows "Creditor recently located individual" and in the Status Details: "This account is scheduled to continue on record until unspecified" this is where they normally put the 7 year SOL. The original account has already dropped of the credit report. I live in Texas and lived at one address for 26 years and then moved to an apt. for about a year then found a house to rent. At the same Job for 14 years it hasn't changed addresses. My question is, Can they leave the 7 year SOL open because I moved. I've been at the same job and still live in the same county, just different address. My licence has shown my new address for the last 2 years. Can they do this or do they have to put in a date. I'm pretty sure it should have dropped off along with the original creditor. Thanks for any help.
