Why chat,there is no court date yet,this letter says,You are hearby summoned and required to serve upon the plaintiffs(Capital one bank)a copy of an answer to the complaint ( oweing them the amount and interest) within 28 days after service of this summons to you, exclusive of the day of service. Your answer must be filed with the court within 3 days after service of a copy of the answer on plintiffs attorney. If you fail to appear and defend,judgement by default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the complaint. They are wanting $3,282.32 plus 22.40% interest. They attached a copy of the bill that was due in Jan.of this year,it shows what was owed. Could you also tell me if they can do anything at all to the house since it will only be in my name and not my husbands. Thanks again.
