Stated?? It doesn't need to be "stated" You received an offer to settle for X $$ on an account AFTER you had already made arrangements to pay in full.

Did ANYONE at the ca's company EVER give you a written offer to honor the "settlement" and refund the $$? I doubt it!

Have you ever paid full price for something at a store, and a week later the item goes on sale?
Did you try to get a refund of the "difference"?
