Thanks for your advice. I'm just a little worried because I contacted them phone to find out what balance amount was for and to see what payment options they have eventhough I still didn't know what it is exactly for. I just saw them on my credit report and freaked. And when I called to request something in writing, I never rec'd anything for about a month and the same day I called to check on status of a letter in writing the guy at Gulf State said that it was against the law to send me something in writing and when I got home there was a payment coupon from them thanking me for promising to pay by October 5. Which I didn't agree upon anything. I am going to send a letter like you suggested but should I be concerned about them stating in a correspondence that I promised to pay? Thank you!
