sorry to hear about what your going through .. honestly i dont feel qualified in giving you advise on your situation but im sure others can but about the new legislation well thats not true at all becouse the new bankruptcy bill has not been voted on & quite honestly it dosent look as if it will for at least another 12 - 18 months if ever so the laws are exactly the same as always .. hope everything turns out ok , im sure it will .. good luck kel ...
