Unless there is an emergency situation, you are better off waiting. Georgia has a 7 year term for judgments, (dated from filing time) and renewals are not allowed.

I do not know of any way you can get the judgment satisfied now, that will keep you from paying the accrued interest, getting it shown as paid, and getting it off your credit reports any quicker than waiting for it to expire.

In fact, it is possible, that if you are dealing with the OC or CA who filed it,and you DO reach a settlement, it may be reported for an additional 7 years from the settlement date on your credit reports, and the unpaid amount (interest) may be then collectible by another CA.
