I went to a lawyer to see about doing so and he told me it was not really a possibility due to my financial status. I can pay my bills, but there is nothing left over essentially. I was told to stop paying the cards, and then try and file bankruptcy after they sue. Is this the wrong approach? Would you recommend that I pay the percentage of the debt they are asking? Which card is most unlikely to sue?
