Who knows? I think sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. Yes, they are supposed to provide the information as to HOW they verified an item, but they usually don't. Just now I read on another board where that information was requested (it is not the person's account) and they just sent a list of the addresses of every creditor listed on her report. They are so used to doing whatever they please, and accounting to no one for it, that they ignore these requests, or respond in a ridiculous manner like this.

That is why they are being sued all over the place.
